New and extended Functions of Version 3.1

The Operlog Tools are, by the version 3.1, again clearly improved. A started task takes care of the archiving of the Operlog logstream; the parameterization is done via PARMLIB. A health check verifies the functionality. In addition Operlog Tools (also the Logstream Manager) supports the logstreams in GDPS™ environments (from z/OS 2.4). Important for all customers with multiple Sysplex or GDPS™ environments, the latest version of Operlog Tools offers a merge analysis of up to 3 MDB archive datasets.

Presenter

Yves Colliard has been working in the MVS sector since the 1980s. Since 1990 he has been supporting MVS customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria as a freelancer through consulting and training.

A further main pillar is the development of software. The impulses for this mostly come from the customers, this is also true for Operlog Tools. Through the cooperation and sales by Beta Systems since 2016, the product gains even more professionalism, distribution and possibilities.
